Fair price for 06 silver reverse proof set?

I have 6 sets (raw) that I plan to take to medium size show in 10 days. What is a fair price to ask a dealer to pay? Thanks.

Dealers will be a bit lower than others. Plus side, no ebay/paypal fees. Bottom side, dealers will usually really lowball unless they have a quick sell that is pretty much guaranteed.
$300 would be too low for me but might work for you.

FYI raw sets are selling for $330 - $355 on ebay. I'm sure you would do better, even with the fees ( 7% - 8%), selling your sets on ebay than to a dealer. On the other hand, perhaps you will find a dealer willing to give you Greysheet price..$370 - $390image

  • I sold one of my raw sets for $350 a couple months ago at a local show, and I was happy with it. image

BTW, I used the money I made to help buy a Jefferson's "liberty" gold coin. I'm not real happy with it so far. image

  • Any idea what a PCGS First Strike 69 set is fetching these days? I have one left that I might want to move this holiday season.

  • How much are sealed sets going for. I Have a shipping box with 6 sets in them. Non first strike.

Wide range..it all depends on the "ignorance" of the bidders. $400 - $750

An example of GS being a guide, but not in sync with the actual market.
