A picture of my boys and I, one of them is a new Numismatist, can ya guess which one?

UPDATE: Sorry about the picture being gone, I removed all my pictures from the internet and this picture was one of them. I received to many bad comments pertaining to pety stuff in the picture.
If you would like to see the picture, drop me a PM and I will share.
There I am on the left, the rest of these guys took a real interest in the Franklin Rings and VEL was kind enough to make one for each of us. The guy up on top has an Uncle that use to collect when he was a child. So he has an unsearched collection at home that he said I could take a look at when we get back out of the desert. He also is interested in getting back into the game (Kind of a side hobby).
There is about five other soldiers around my company that are interested, I'll be trying my hardest to educate them on what we do.
Thanks for looking,
Ray

That ain't no pocket piece and it's not called THUMBING... it's RUBBING
Just FYI, unauthorized AirForce gloves are when a soldier has his hands in his pocket. It is unprofessional.
Thanks for all you do for our country!
Thanks, Paul

This is a long one (15 months), for some of these guys this is their first time over here. Right now we are actively trying to locate supporters that will write or send a care package or two every now and then. I have a support site in my signature block to those that are interested in supporting us. Please do not feel pressured, the Army does take care of us in way of food, clothing and shelter so we have the basics. It is always good to hear from home so if you want to just send a letter of support, an e-mail, or a package we all appriciate support from home.
Thanks for asking,
Ray
A couple years ago, I sent a video to you via someone here. I don't know if it ever made it, but it is was through my brother. It is a nice song and was written by a few guys (Steven Curtis Chapman being one of them). It played on CMT during one season.... but
Merry Christmas Doll is not just for the men who won't be home with their kids, but all military personnel who serve.
Check it out.

The thing I look forward to is when all those folks are back in the US and running the country in the future. Future looks bright.

<< <i>The duds they give you guys these days look pretty cool. I wonder if those boots are as comfortable as they look, Ray?

The boots I am wearing are aftermarket (Not issued by the government) I pulled the heal cups out so they are as comfortable as sneakers. I wish there were a little more padding in the sole boot, but I am not complaining. As for the Government Issue, they are all right; I actually wore a version of these (Though Black and or Green) for years. They are much like the jungle boots of yesteryear.
Thanks for the question,
Ray
<< <i>It is good to see a photo of you and the boys, thanks for posting it. I don't know who is the new numismatist but if I'm allowed to guess I'll guess it is the guy with the big grin.
As for the new numismatist, it's the guy in the middle on the top. He had an Uncle back in the days that collected and he would sit down with and learn a little. My collection has sparked his interest again and he is looking forward to getting back into the fun. The rest of my crew listen to my stories with interest but are really clueless with the whole thing so I'm going to try to educate them all while we are here.
Thanks for posting,
Ray
Keep Safe Ray, and if you happen to get by Camp Ramadi give a hollar to my Son. There down to just three working phones for the whole base to call the outside world, so Email is all I have now to talk to him (it's a shame the military is limiting phone access now, but that's another story altogether.)
