Ever wonder where those grading co. come from

Some of us have wondered "where do those grading companies come from". We can't find a website for them using yahoo, google or whatever search engine we use. I've tried finding out info about a company that a only a couple of sellers that both seem to be BIG customers of.

That GMA site looks like they will soon overtake PSA and Beckett. Grade and slab our own, great marketing idea!
I am getting a submission together tonight.

  • In a related story, I have an entire Gem Mint 10 set of 1978 Topps... or I will have, once GMA gets back to me *grin*
Nolan Ryan & Edgar Martinez are my favorite players...

I dunno if I agree. This company also offers slabbing without grading too. And for a quarter more you can "brand" your collection also. Say for example you have a 1967 Aaron card that doesn't meet min. As long as you price it right a slabbed possible trimmed card would look nice in a MetalMike holder. hee hee. Gary hopes they slab his "packs" too. Imagine, a authentic gary touched re-pack! sweet!- free beer bongs all around. Slab ya cards for a buck may be a good business model. Mike

Does anyone actually have a card (or a pic of a card) in a Snaggletooth Grading holder? I would love to see that.

Stone193 actually started PSG a few years ago, but I haven't seen many of their slabs lately. How funny would it be to send in a beat up card or two for PSG 10s, complete with the logo?
  • Well I've had some ideas of my "grading company":
    SCA - Sooner Cowboy Authentics
    ASS - Authenticated Sports Services
    SOB - Sports Only Broker
    GOD - Graded10's Only Dammit

  • Right now two sellers combine for over 800 PGI cards on ebay. All others combine for 18

  • You know what I would love? I would like to have a card slabbed by PSA with no grade or nothing, just a beautiful slab. Not talking about no-grade but then you have to authenticate it, i'm talking about slabbing it ok but maybe just like the player name, year, card # and set name, but no grade or nothing and not charge like $10 to $20+ but only $5.00 a card to slab them the way i'm talking about. Because I have pleanty of cards I would use that service for because most of my cards are for my personal collection and don't really care about grade.

They stole much of their website including submission form from Mint Grading, another very reputable outfit. Might be the same folks, they're a couple miles apart from each other.
