the thing with BGS is this.. most new collectors to the hobby, youngsters, collect the new stuff, and they are drawn to Beckett mainly because of their name and magazine...

when they become more seasoned, and more advanced collectors, they find out the truth about BGS and eventually move on.....

what veteran collector chooses BGS over PSA? show me that person and i will show you a naive person with blinders on.... >>

Hello pot, meet kettle.... The only person who is naive is the one who thinks their company is perfect and anyone who uses another is somehow uneducated. PSA,BGS and sgc are all the same in regards to grading trimmed cards, overgrading and other problems. If you think anyone is that much better then the other then you are definatly the naive uneducated collector...

When was the last time you saw a Beckett graded card in a Mastro, Mile High, Heritage (the list is endless) auction?

lots i would imagine, what the gretzkey wagner in?, it sure aint a beckett slab
i think beckett sucks myself along with gai - scg ive never dealt with,

they all have probs, psa sure dont grade any of my cards for 50 bowman fb ive bought raw that come back trimmed, ive gotten back dozens, gai will ,ive bought gai garbage before slabbed, crack em-and had them come back trimmed by psa,as for beckett i dunno, never used em,i think becett sucks and their grading service as well, the bccg cards did me in with the gargage they put slabbed in the tristar packs bb and fb 10.00 packs -what a crock that was ,it all subjective and an opinion when graded anways, i dont care if they give 100 diff people, your going to get at least 25 diff opinions and reach a concesous of some type and slab it

When was the last time you had modern graded cards in those auctions either??? Its no secret that Bgs caters to the MOdern market, as does psa with the 1951-1980 market, as does sgc with the pre-war...
