If they would only abolish the committee and commission artists, perhaps we could have meaningful design. Cheers, RickO

How can you make a dead president look artistically good? The profile busts are flat and the low profile 3/4 views are prone to dings and hits and scrapes!

Get away from the presidents and back to Liberty or some type of American theme's!

H-m-m-m I wonder what the James Town commemorative design would look like on the nickel or even a half dollar?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Pre-1982 cents Lincolns are the last real money of the USA. Gold was splashed in 1933. Silver in 1966. Since 1982, Cents have been copper plated zinc...

Did you know that last December the melting and/or exporting of copper cents was made illegal????

Yes David, we knew that and have decided, at least I think there was a decision there, that to be economically feasible, you'd have to melt about 2 or 3 dump truck loads to show any kind of a profit.

I suppose its possible by the super rich but personally, I think my bank would get a little suspicious when I ordered $100,000 in pennies! Heck they get uptight when I order two $50 boxes!
