Three factors that may effect price of #4

It would be common sense that with the rising cost of gold that the mint will have to raise #4 price...... what are your thoughts?

In a thread just past several people mention how they did not do well as a flip with #3 ... hence another factor that also might hurt sales.....

Last factor.... the initial novelty has warn off

Mixed feelings...I will definately purchase the proof, but no unc.
My guess on the price....$$489 for the proof...$469 on the unc.

I would guess you are right. This one will not be a sellout. At least not in the first few weeks. I will still buy my one for my set but probably not going after extras for flipping.

I for one will be buying both #4 coins - want to make a 1st year set of proofs and unc's, coupled with the actual prez dollars would make a super set that I feel would be collectable in years' to come - especially if the mint removes the edge lettering - comments, thoughts etc??

Mint is not going to remove the edge lettering...they just spend a ton of $ on a new machine....

Correct. they're just moving it to the Sac instead of the prez $.
