They also come with free delivery confirmation through PayPal. In addition, the shipping service through USPS is very limited in the type of printers/labels with which it will work. PayPal has many more options and a lot more functionality. Finally, PayPal shipping is paid in a click from your PayPal account.

In other words, why the hell would anybody use the USPS service when the PayPal service is superior?

"Yes! Plus you have the paypal protection where they have all the details of the purchase and shipping." I don't own stock in the USPS. I merely offered a suggestion. As far as I'm concerned, you can go to PayPal. Mike

Same here. Funny thing is Paypal/Ebay suggested making security changes after possible fraud issue and I can't get in, oh well they can run up a maxed card!

Good to know. I was always troubled that I was forced to use Priority. Is there an extra charge for delivery confirmation with 1st class and the shiipping assistant program?

DC is 18¢ anytime when purchased electronically for 1st Class Mail. DC is always free with any Priority package. Doesn't matter whether you purchase thru USPS, Pitney Bowes, etc. You can get your DC w/label online and then pay 18¢ at the walkup window.

I prefer the USPS site - primarily because I no longer do business with paypal. Other than first class shipping-they offer everything paypal shipping does. I prefer priority shipping, even with the bubble mailers because the post office seems to mis-treat mis-handle first class mail with bubble mailers. They either reject for their thickness or lack of or send them through their machines that tear them up. Most folks don't complain about how fast their package gets there priority either. I quit paypal about 6-7 months ago and my spoof mail has dwindled down to almost nothing. I don't get spoof mail from the USPS site.
