Look out another pack factory special on ebay

No wonder some much resealed crap is sold on ebay with guys with stuff for sale like this.
only someone running a pack factory would buy that many wrappers.
I'd love to create a shill ebay account and bid a million on these. I know some on here have done it can you get in trouble for it or will ebay never know?

I disagree- this seller has great 100% feedback, instead of blaming the seller, keep the buyer's in the back of your mind. This has been discussed before ad nauseum- see Steve's thread for more pro/cons on the subject. Also this dealer deals in bulk items.

  • You can certainly do that and all it does is make it harder to figure out second chance offers

  • I'm sure i'll be the highbidder
  • You can get into trouble with Ebay for bidding with no intention of paying.

i used to have a gigantic box about 3 foot high and the size of wrappers i had filled up with prob 10,000 wrappers just like that, i got sick of looking at em and pitched em all in the trash when i quit collecting back in mid 90s,wax boxes too!

I'm actually saving mine up to do something with them. To be honest, Gary's "bar" idea isn't the stupidest thing I ever heard. Or making individual collages with random wrappers and framing them could be cool as well. Personally, I would have trouble putting them back out on the market unless it was a rare wrapper that a collector would enjoy. However, I hold nothing against someone who needs to offset their costs by selling wrappers and boxes.
  • The only wrapper I have saved is a 1989 Topps Stickers wrapper. I opened a case, and one of the packs had the McGwire foil sticker, the regular sticker, AND the regular card all in the same pack, and none of them were the card with the gum on it. Pretty amazing for only 5 cards in a pack. I didnt have the heart to throw it out. 2 of those 3 are sitting in my 'to be graded' box right now.

  • Good Day,
The particular Non Sport wrappers are worthless, you could fill them with cards till the cows came home and they would still be worthless. I saw that auction before this thread and had a good laugh at somebody paying $61 bucks for that crap. I've thrown away more than that of those.
