Canadian silver

Aside from the basic tenet of collecting American currency I was wondering if anyone collects silver from Canada such as Silver 5 dollar

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

i collect Canadian silver dollars, have most of the run from 1935-1967 (before they changed the composition from 80% silver to cupronickel).

Add me to the list. For bullion speculation the $5 silver Maple Leafs are sweet. I like the low mintages, no milk spot issues and how the Queens image changes as she ages. I think all the Canadian coins are under valued and will increase in demand when more American collectors turn their eyes towards our northern neighbors.

I don't collect it, but I store it! I own a wide range of Canadian coins that I have been slowly selling off. Predominantly pre-1980 material. I swapped nearly a full set of large cents in VF and a number of better date halves to forum member Luskie a few months back. I still have LOTS left. Many folders, original rolls, pre decimal bank tokens, you name it. PM me if there is something you may be seeking, but I don't have any of the real key date silver dollers.
