Grade this $10 Indian. (Caution, Big Pics). GRADE POSTED.
Here's a coin that I've owned for 20ish years. It is in an old rattler. Just for interests sakes what would you grade it? The images were done by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job. I'll post the slab grade the latter part of this afternoon my time.

However, the reverse looks a little soft and has a few hits.
Unless there are particulars to this year that I am not aware of concerning strike and what's forgiven or survival rates and what is not forgiven, I would guess that the grade on your holder reads MS63.

There is a tiny amount of friction on the cheekbone, but I'll go with MS-62+ or MS63. Nice original un-dipped color.
However....perhaps a MS63.
Oh...AS. (artificially sized)

Agreed,
If it is a weak strike it go 63/64
If it is rub then a very high end AU58.
I think the reverse is weakly struck. I'm gonig to assume that the darkish vertical streak on the face from the hair down to behind the mouth is just the corresponding weak spot on the obverse, and is not wear. I have to remember not to grade gold the way I grade silver, so I'm with Carrie-Ann on this one - 64.

Nice coin. I like the color variances on the feathers.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.

<< <i>The luster looks nice but it looks as if some very light haze is on the obverse from the pics? >>
There is no haze on the coin. There is a bit of a two tone aspect to the gold on the obverse.
