Try selling coin collecting to your students, like they're pokemon cards or something. There's stacks of coins out there in circulation that are worth a heck of a lot more than their face value. You've just got to know what your looking for. Here's a link for a site where kids (and everyone else for that matter)can show off their collections... you know, coins, notes, stamps, anything - so long as its decent. Tell them to log onto www.everyonecollects.com .It's the place to show off their hard earned collections.
