Since I didn't grade my own President proofs I didn't get a chance to check so my question is why is their not a position A and B for the proofs or did no one notice?
Thanks Walt - so it looks like WY(p) is the only state quarter that may be super tough to obtain and no Pres dollar appears "super tough" - although there are a few tough ones.

I would disagree. I beleive both the GW-Ps are super tough coins in 9, with pops at 3 (a) & 5 (b) they are by far, fewer than most of the other dollars. JA-Ps are also pretty tough with Pops at 15, they are not growing on trees. Wy-P at Pop 1 and the Mont-P at a low pop are too very difficult ones as well.
Walt - Just semantics concerning each of our definitions of "super tough" vs. "tough". The NJ(d) quarter in MS68 is "super tough". The Washington Dollar in SF MS69 is just "tough". Wondercoin

Does anyone here have a complete set of MS68 Satin Finish Presidential Dollars to sell? Let me take them off your hands
I'm looking for a set of all 16 coins, P & D, A & B in MS68SF, preferably in a PCGS blue box.
On the bay, prices have drifted down to $10-13 each and the flood is just beginning as everyone's getting their submissions back.
Will anyone sell me a set for $200 shipped? That's $12ea. plus $8 shipping with no Ebay fees. If you have almost a full set I will consider that also.
I'll also take the following if you've got them (All Satin Finish): 2007 P/D $.01 MS68RD - $10ea. 2007 P $.05 MS68FS - $15 2007 P $.10 MS68FB - $10 2007 P/D $.50 MS68 - $10ea. 2007 P Sac$1D MS68 - $15
Yes, I am serious. I'm sorry - I'm not trying to insult anyone. Even if you take a loss you can either hold on to them or sell them, I guess it's your choice, but that's what the price is trending toward on Ebay. If you have a place where you can sell them for more then definitely don't sell them to me! There's just no way that I can pay more when I can get them on the bay for that?
Reference auctions: 260183184431 JA-D MS68 Pos B $12.11 260183184278 JA-D MS68 Pos A $12.01 260183186237 JM-D MS68 Pos B $12.61 250186675183 JM-P MS68 Pos A $13.46 250183974268 JM-P MS68 Pos A $12.51
Ebay and Paypal fees are about $2.00 on $12.50 sale, plus the time and effort to list (and sometimes re-list), package, and mail them.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you submit these hoping for 69's and 70's which you make a nice profit on and you end up with a bunch of 68's you need to get rid of, right? If you can sell them for more, great. If you want to unload some, I'll take them. I'm not going to flip them, I'm collecting one of each. I think it's a fair offer, but feel free to counter.
I make submissions too, just not in near the quantities you guys do and I always have disappointments that I have to sell and I tend to lose money on them too... I just figured it was all part of the game.
Your position is noted. Good luck with your bidding out there. I'm sure you'll find a few deals.
I submit them to make complete sets of MS68's and of course MS69s. Those open auctions you're referring to aren't for all 16 coins, so the seller should know they're not going to get full price. A person could work very hard trying to find all 16 coins in open auction that way and pay shipping each time to boot. The complete set is worth more than the sum of the parts in this case.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Real good news I think underway... business strike and satin finish coins will probably get their own registry sets in addition to misc. sets that allow either/or treatment. Should be a real "shot in the arm" for the Business Strike state quarters from 2005-date and other business strike denominated coins. Wondercoin.
P.S. - What's up with this one - #190175770293? And, is it true that NGC MS68 SF coins are trading at up to 5x-10x the PCGS levels??

Wow! Big money Mitch for that JM-D SF68 Pos B! There were only two bidders involved in that hefty price for a common coin.
Glad to hear about the SF only set being strongly considered or planned by PCGS as the case may be for the presidential dollars and other series. I got a call myself from PCGS to get an opinion so I know they are handling this correctly collecting opinions from the most vocal ones like myself.
The demand for the new dollars and the number of collectors appears to be at least as high or higher overall than state quarters and this to me is good news as it should fuel more mint set hunting for those scarce 2007 dollars hence the bi-product (I hope) will be more of the key 2007 P mint SHQ in SF69 or even SF70 may be found?. Remember how scarce KS-P in SF69 were early on and now two in SF70 and if you have them offer me one, I pay stupid money, even more than XXX!
One nice thing about mint sets is they make millions of them and the quality remains high encased in their plastic and not spent so will be there for years for hunters to find nice ones.

DR....How much exactly is Stupid Money, is that right above or right below "Moon Money? Doug, If I had your money I would just burn mine..............(JK)...
Doug: I made sure that PCGS called you before they decided on anything.
I know nothing about the (3) SF 70 just made. I can ask PCGS to verify they are "for real" (to make sure they are not PR70 coins by accident) if by next week no one has any information on them. Wondercoin

And Mark, your help with trying to identify the toughy's early helped me to keep focused, Thanks Mark.
Contributors, as always will be listed by coin in the set registry.
