PSA crossover grading question

I submitted a 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth that had been graded 4.5 by GAI. I submitted it as a crossover to PSA with a minimum grade stipulation of "5". When I look it up online, all it says under the grade is m/g. Does that mean it made the minimum grade or it missed the minimum grade? I've looked all over PSA's website but found no explanation. Please help me if you know the answer. I'm dying from the anxiety and customer service is closed. I won't be able to sleep tonight not knowing if my beloved Babe is still in it's GAI holder or if it has moved to a new home with PSA. Thanks!

Comments

  • That means it missed the minimum grade. Sorry.
  • Thank you for delivering the news to me. Oh well, I'm only out $120.00 for the grading fee and shipping costs. Ya win some, ya lose some. I still love that card. It has excellent eye appeal for that low of a grade.

I'm sorry, but was your comment intended to be hostile? I don't recall reading any rules regarding minimum usage in the terms of use when I registered back in the Pre-Cambrian Era. Showing hostility is also counter productive for someone advertising their E-bay auctions in their signature. It certainly turns me off from transacting business with you.

Yes it sure was. You have to watch out for that nam guy.

I once typed something he didnt like and his fist actually came through my monitor and narrowly missed my chin.

If it wasnt for my cat like reflexes that would have hurt.

Take it however you like, just try to contribute a little too. In this world there are lifters, and there are leaners. Which are you?

I think my screen name answers that question. Plifter is short for powerlifter. You probably would not be rude to me if we were meeting face to face as I'm a rather large and strong man. I do not understand why some people act rude on the internet just because there is a sense of anonymity. That is all I have to say regarding this minor incident.

Again, I sincerely thank the user who assisted me with my question. I look forward to discussing cards more frequently in this forum.

Are you saying all the good people on the boards with a lot of posts in a relatively short amount of time have no lives?

Yep. I thought the guy asked a legitimate question and getting shot down (for respecting people's time, basically) is not a great welcome. plifter, if you know how to post images, you should post an image of your 33 Ruth. Would love to see what it looks like and you'll get a lot of good (and helpful) opinions.

People that are too lazy to help out the good members of these boards (not you royalbrett....yet lol) might not be the kind of people I want bidding on my auctions anyway.
