Dark Tales of Dime Slime and other Crime

Well, not really but I did want to get the attention of these dimers. Maybe it's just me but it seems that these dime people are just about as passionate as they come. Heck, I'm thinking about collecting the useles chunks of whatever just becuase of these crazy dimers. Can anyone tell me why they are what they are? How many dimes can I buy before I am addicted? Is it like crack, can I be addicted after that very first buy? Is there a hotline I can call?

"How many dimes can I buy before I am addicted?"

I have studied this phenomenon and have come to the conclusion that it takes
exactly 14 dime purchases to become addicted. You can reduce that amount
by as much as 30% if you become involved in a dispute on the boards about
one or more of your dimes. Once you receive your first FB designation through
a cherry pick you will be hooked for life and from this point forward there is no
    turning back......

Why do I collect dimes? Hmmmmm? They are kinda small.

    Lets see..

    early dimes are historic
    seated dimes have style
barbers are ... well ... barbers
    mercurys are pretty
    roosies are fun

and the dime of the future .... who can say?

    But thumbs up anyway. image

A dime is a U.S. coin worth 10 cents, or 10/100 of a dollar. The dime takes its name from the French "disme", which was a coin worth 1/10 of a unit in eighteenth century France. The pronunciation of "disme" is exactly the same as we pronounce dime today.
