Even suggesting to take the Super Bowl to London someday makes him look silly. Way to reward your loyal U.S. fan base!
There are two types of people in this world; those who like Neil Diamond, and those who don't. My ex-wife loves him!!

    I'm not sure what he was thinking with that statement. Playing the Super Bowl in another country is NOT going to increase
    the popularity of the sport outside the US. Anyone remember the world cup played in the US? Someone had the bright
    idea that was going to get Americans excited about soccer - not.

    This is taking the notion of neutral playing field to the extreme. I'm open to expanding the popularity of the sport, but this is idiotic.

    I don't think he was saying it's definitely going to happen, or going to happen anytime soon.

    If England offered the NFL enough to host the Super Bowl he would be an idiot not to look into it. And he could use the profits to help reward the loyal fan base. . .

    id like to see our nfl guys play those rugby guys that get out there with no pads or anthing,is a brutal sport- they are nuts lol

    It folded after last season. Actually when I was 10 years old, my dad had something going on with work and we went over to scotland for a little while. Went to a few Scottish Claymores games. If I remember correctly, they drew about 15,000 a game and Aaron Stecker was on the team. Also went to the ruby league championship between Bradford and Leeds. One of the craziest crowds that I have ever seen other than at the Swamp or Beaver Stadium. We happened to see a fight break out between at least 10 guys when leaving the stadium. Nothing like the soccer/rugby hooligans.image

    The fans wouldn't get anything! Can you see the Cowboys making it to the Super Bowl only to have their fans have to travel to England in January! Better yet, the Raiders fans!

    heh as if Raider or Cowboy fans couldn't afford to fly to London to watch their team in the superbowl...nice profiling there bub.

    I can see the all pro game going overseas soon...london for sure.

    Don't let the Sunday costumes fool you. The Black Hole has more money in it then you might think. Money wouldn't be the problem, but when they got there..two worlds collide.

    The black hole has a reputation of a bunch of blue collar crazy yahoos, but not all of them are.

    I remember reading a profile of one of them who is an investment banker who likes to dress up in the silver and black getup
    and scream and yell with the best of them.
