Rediculous!!! GRA "GEM 10" Bogus grader

How in the world do people get away with this crap? Take a look at this '57 Koufax "GEM 10" graded GRA?? Graded Rookies Authenticated. Um, yeah, I could take that upper right corner at 90mph. I hate scammers.

I don't know what this guy's problem is. Look at his other auctions and feedback. The description says "we hold exclusive rights for gem 10 GRA cards." Yeah, that's cuz' this fool is typing up cert stickers and using a screw down holder. Pathetic. Before I go too far, GRA isn't a legit grading company are they? I assume not judgeing by this crap.

People put trust in grading company's like PSA. #1 this guy is blatently ripping people off. And #2 some of the people prbably don't know any better. He does offer refunds no ?'s asked, but to a young person or someone who is too trusting, they are gonna see that "gem 10" in holder and think nothing of it until they get older or wiser and find out they got ripped off. Pieces of trash like this don't deserve the same privleges as the rest of us I'll tell you that much (and I put that lighter than I would have liked to).

They have been around a while and are definately not legit.
They have four people grade the card and then add the totals, hence all the 10's....

These things sell for the same reason...someone thinks they are getting something for nothing. Greed overrides common sense in a lot of people these days. This guy sell garbage and calls it a 10 and people think they are getting a 20k card for just hundreds.

I do love the feedback the one guy left about him overcharging for shipping..uhh, shipping is clearly stated, but people still buy it and then leave a neutral. I sometimes think that ebay draws some of the biggest idiots in the world.

When I first started buying graded cards off eBay, I bought a few GRA 10s for my 73 set.
I was also new at the submission game, so I cracked them all out and sent them off to PSA.

My results:

I'll bet he put an ad in the classified section of Beckett and that's his "claim to fame." While I'm not as upset as last night, I still loathe people like this. But you are correct, if people are not smart enough to recognize that this guy's running scams, then who's fault is it really?

Interesting to me that he is rated lower on his shipping than his descriptions. If I was selling this stuff, I'd try to get it out before the buyer reconsidered.

There's also a clear reason why that tool doesn't get a better scanner. Well at least, judgeing by his feedback, he's spending alot of time and money on refunding unhappy customers. I loved his comment to my ? "in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied." Yeah that's real unlikely.

In order for these people to be "scammed," they must have thought they were getting a "steal" on the cards and, ironically, "scamming" the buyer.

WHOA -- WHOA -- WHOA everyone
NO collection is complete unless you have a GRA gem
Before you judge please review the highlights of the cornerstone of my collection

1st image shows the front and back -- please notice that 20lb pristine white printer paper that was used
The color gray was achieved with 300dpi gray ink sprinkled, with again, 300dpi jet black ink (brilliant choice if I do say so)
A very neatly trimmed soft sleeve was added for super extra protection - I would have to think that PSA copied this type of application but theirs is sloppy (again my 2 cents)

I just love the 4 item breakdown --- nailed it --- very fair grades



Image 2 shows a close up of the top front corners ~ again quality unmatched ~ i would love to own my own hole puncher that could make these type of holes -- i would just start now and make bags and bags of confetti for New Years ~~ by far would be the best around (sorry for the OT rant)



And the best for last
Image 3 shows a close up of the incredible tamper resistant protection that GRA is know for -- i don't know but would but a nickel that the black goopity goop that prevents one from unscrewing the beautiful brass screws is patented



Again this is one mans opinion but their are thousands of awesome GRA bargains out on ebay right now do yourself a favor and pick one up
