Local auction this Sat. Add reads " Third party Graded"

So I send an email to ask WHAT particular third party.

Here is the response;

PCGS-NTC-SGS-INB-ANI--are represented--even tho there are many from less
well known grading companies and many not graded the gentleman had a good eye
for nice coins--hope to see you at the auction--thanks for your
interest--joe

    I'd still give it a look-see. You never know what you might find in those slabs.

    Just treat the coins in third world slabs as raw and you sould do O.K. Let us know how you make out.

  • Remember there are coins inside the plastic protective containers, the value if any is in coin not the container.

    The phrase “third party grading” really means that the guy who normally pulls carburetors from junked Yugos, grades coins after he has attended his third beer party of the night.

    Lots of good advice ! I think I may take a gander if I can get the day off work. One coin of interest is a 1797 Large Cent VF 20.image
