Cast? Counterfeit 1911 Barber Half
I know there is a subculture here that enjoys these, so when I found it fairly cheap in a token book (Clearly marked counterfeit) at a local show, I said why not. Not sure why anyone would fake a 1911 though. I don't think this would fool many people, it is strangely speckled and weights only 10.16 grams. Anyhow, here you go.

Agree. Was probably originally silver plated to look real.

That's $10.50 in today's money. I'm sure people today make fake $10's.

Good point Tom, I always jump to the conclusion of counterfeits being used in the collectible coins market only. I completely forgot that someone might forge/create them to use AT FACE VALUE
