has this happened to you?

got permission to hunt a good site this morning. As I was getting my stuff out of the truck, I dropped my pinpointer on the paved
driveway, TOAST. A long weekend of detecting ruined.image

I dropped mine a few times and had it come apart, but it went back together and worked OK. For a while.

Now it (AND the $200 Sun-Ray inline probe I got for my Garrett) are both dead, and I've been pinpointerless for some time.

    I feel your pain. image

Should always have a spare.... good insurance for a reasonable price. Cheers, RickO
  • Couldn't you just detect without the pinpointer?
    I lust for silver.
