I always look at the rims - crisp & straight down into the fields for proofs, gradual & basined for business strikes - your coin is basined.

its not a matte proof.....but your question was does it look like a matte proof.....well it kinda does (even though it isnt).....sorta like when your wife asks if some article of clothing makes her butt look big....you should reassure her that while her butt is not in fact big, it does give that illusion
