Dude, that does suck for you, but such is life... speaking of which, put this in perspective. Being snitty is not going to change things a bit. As others stated you can either try to beat them at their own game, or you can look at it as your only other real competition for the set blowing their wad so you can pick up the next one offered for much less probably.

The day I fully realized that with VERY few exceptions another item will be offered up eventually is the day I started saving myself a lot of money... to blow on eBay, sure, but on more stuff!

    Welcome to the game.

It's a dog eat dog world out there.

If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

    And finally..

    Don't take any wooden nickels.

Just keep sending emails stating what you would pay to the sellers and if it is more than they got I am sure they will let the auctions run next time. Sellers will keep an auction going if they feel they will get more than the end it now price.

    Hmmm.

    Let's see now?

First you came on and trashed what appears to be an outstanding ebay seller and then had to eat your words.

Now, you're complaining about the tactics of another buyer who - I'm guessing is also a registry participant?

Why not go over to the registry forum - where guys like that would hang out - and make your case?

As I said before - it's about balance.

Most of the people here who post a grievance of some kind - also write threads about what they collect; provide scans and offer insight and knowledge for other people to appreciate.

I mean, come on, I have your car towed all the way home and all ya gonna give me is lite beer?
