my favorite Long Beach purchase

Did you ever spend way too much on a coin, being absolutely and profoundly aware it was too much as you were doing it, but you did it anyway because you liked the coin so darn much?
That's what I did this morning at the Long Beach show.
And for some reason it doesn't hurt.
-- It's my favorite date in the series.
-- The grade on the holder looks... well, crazy low.
-- It's much of the way to being PL.
-- The eye appeal is stunning.
-- It's in that certain color insert holder that makes some folks' imagination run wild.

Oh, and it's also a tough VAM:
