I handle gold very infrequently. These look a little funny. Real or counterfeit? Any comments would be appreciated.

Can you do a good picture of the edge of the coin? Do you see any indication of a seam where the two halves were joined?
Indian fooled me for over 40 years. Yep the gold is in there.
It was brought back from Germany after WW II and probably
coined in India during the Great Depression.
