    Well before shipping it would be 25.00 a rack pack. That could be an interesting rip.

    I know it is FB season, but in tribute to the baseball post-season, a cello rip would be cool! image

    Steve has 1976, 1979-89 cello on his site. Would be $134.70 PP +shipping & fees(minus any discount) for 24 persons.

    I like the 81 Football Rip Idea and would be in for 2 or 3 racks. I just Love Racks... Oh wait a minute, were we talking about Cards?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I think if the 81 Rack rip were to happen we would need to set it up in lots of 4 racks or so. I like the cello idea as well though although cello packs tend to have more damaged cards than wax and racks.

    I would be in for the 81 rack rip. It might take a while to get 48 takers however. And does anyone else think that the box pictured on Steve's site has been "well travelled"?

    Can I make a suggestion, if Chris would pick up the ball again to put this together. Looking at Steve's inventory I came up with this idea, of course open to suggestions.

    1975 Topps Football Cello Box 24 packs $1,750.00
    1978 Topps Football 24 count Box Wax Trays $1,080.00
    1980 Topps Football Wax Pack Rack Box 24 $220.00
    1981 Topps Football Cello Box 24 packs $525.00
    1982 Topps Football Rack Packs (24 Lot) $180.00
    1984 Topps Football Cello Box 24 packs $525.00

    Total before Shipping: $4280.00 and if Steve would give us %10 off would be about $3852.00. Divide this by 24 (Which should be easier and much qucker to get together)
    1 Lot = $160.50 plus Shipping.

    What does evrybody think ?

    Only bad thing about cellos pulling gradeable cards from them is sometimes very hard due to the way they are packed.

    Ok, Cello realities noted, Below is a revised lot with Cello's removed, but some Rack Packs (Which I've never had an issue with) left.

    I just sent off a small group from the last rip.

    The football rip was fun, but I don't know if I'd want another one right way. How about Basketball? What are the chances of a basketball special during the season?
