Herman Halpern (Stacks 1988) and Jack Robinson (Superior 1989), just a guess. Could Henry Hines pedigree RTS is referring to, though. Although the Halpern sale (a most incredible collection of quality cents) offered a significant run of beautiful 1817s.
Were they set free or purchased raw - purchased raw as the majority of my pennies are - if encapsulated I have the seller crack them out and in rare cases I smash them with a hammer myself.
You are too artistic to be posting your coins here. In fact, we do not even need to see the photos of the coins. All we really need to know is the slab grade, slab brand, and the name of the coin doctor who last owned the coin.
