Honolulu Mint

What can anyone tell me about this mint and it's coinage?

Must be an independent, like the Franklin mint. So whatever it produces, are not coins. Medals, tokens, maybe. Cheers, RickO

How does Hawaii get it's money?
I would think they deal only with San Francisco Mint?
Must be hard for collectors to go to the local bank and go roll searching?

    Thanks,

    Chris
