It is cool to see, but doesn't really say anything at all, and the two years age difference make it a less than perfect match. Matsuzaka compares just as favorably with this line with zero age difference

    1990 26 SEA AL 14 11 33 33 5 2 0 0 219.7 174 103 89 26 120 194 5 4 944 2 2 3.65 3.96 108 1.338

    That's Randy Johnson

For a right-handed pitcher who is not extremely tall, nor way too fat, Kevin Brown might be the best comparison

close - but I'm not bi-racial, good looking, or rich, three virtues I've often heard the board's biggest Arod lover harp on.... image

i'd give Dice K a couple of more years before making any judgements. He was effective for 75% of the season, but he looks tired. I wonder how effective he will be in the playoffs....

Jealous? Dude, I'm a Bills fan. Trust me, I don't take anything sports-related that seriously... I went my basically my entire youth (from 5 until 22) not seeing any of my teams (Bills, Sabres, Yankees, Knicks) win a title. No need to be a sore winner...

So now I guess you are just LIVIN IT UP????? Bills fan=from buffalo=NY eh? Try being a PAtriots, Bruins and a red sox fan over the last 20 year who won less? Up until what 5 years ago the PAts just plain SUCKED, and youa re right we didn't win a damn pennant since 1995, dont even get me going on the bruins. This is a NO SPIN ZONE MY FRIEND....You have been exposed, stop the desperate attempts to cover it up...sounding more like Gary Daggett.

I'm not really sure what any of this means but OK, you,re right, I'm guess I'm somehow jealous of something. I'm gonna lose some sleep tonight.

Okay, you're both right - I've definitely not forgotten the memory of 1986, even though for some odd reason I have never seen the Mets as the enemy (like the Yankees). Maybe its because Mets fans tend to be anti-Yankee fans, and that makes them okay in my book.

I have a similar story to tell. I do not look at the Mets as the enemy either. What they did to the Sox and their fans in 1986 helped that alot ..... so IN MY BOOK Mets fans are A OK. Those poor fans ...... its one thing to go one and out in the playoffs but to have happen what has tranpired over the last months is a shot waay below the belt.
