eBay catalog contains your user ID

I recently got a catalog in the mail from eBay. On the back cover, it says "Want to win some of the great stuff in this catalog? Turn to page 3. Go to your personal eBay web page. etc." When you go to page 3, it contains your eBay ID (but of course not your password). So, since I don't want the trash guy to know my eBay ID, I shredded it. Most of the time, I would just toss out a catalog, but this one contains sensitive info inside. Just wanted you Forum members to know.

I have the box checked that says "Don't mail me any crap".

I received the same catalog, had the same reaction, and shredded it likewise. That was a real gaf on their part, disclosing your eBay ID to anyone who cared to look at it. You really need to be careful.
