Interesting new eBay scam.

Essentially invisible text in the auction stating what the buyer will receive - which is different than the auction description.

HUGE LOT OF OVER 150 ITEMS OF STAR TREK FROM 1980-2008

Down at the bottom he has this:

Yeah, I know, it isn't coins. But, this seller also lists coins.

The font color showed up as white on my screen...I did not even see it until I highlighted the HTML...that plus the 70.00 shipping makes this an interesting auction! Always something/someone trying to gain an advantage on eBay!

I first started buying 'stuff' on ebay in the early nineties.... and while there were some scammers then, it was mostly easy to detect and avoid. In the last several years, while there are always entry level scammers, the real experts have sunk to new levels of deceit. I am very selective when buying on ebay... caution will save a lot of problems. Cheers, RickO
