At the very least, he shouldn't have 'PCGS' in the item title...that is very misleading.
You Suck! Awarded 6/2008- 1901-O Micro O Morgan, 8/2008- 1878 VAM-123 Morgan, 9/2022 1888-O VAM-1B3 H8 Morgan | Senior Regional Representative- ANACS Coin Grading. Posted opinions on coins are my own, and are not an official ANACS opinion.
That’s actually one of the better descriptions… at least he tells you up front the coin is no longer in the holder (presuming of course that is the original coin)… of course it counts as upgraded by pretty much anyone’s standard but, for some reason, the story actually sounds true… as in “here’s my old coin, I took it out of the holder, here’s the old holder, please sell it for me”
I do think people actually read the descriptions, that why you always see those “$100,000 in value” coin auctions only selling for $50 to $100 … bidders do read the auction and bid accordingly…they’re just looking for a great bargain and gamble that the seller could be telling the truth and he really didn’t search through the coins and one of those graded Morgans they get in the grab-bag will be from Carson City… not going to happen of course but… they bid accordingly.
Sorry I looked at the picture and could tell it wasn't a PCGS holder I may have to buy all you guys crack out tags so I can sell my raw coins if this works
