Can you intentionally "circulate" a cleaned coin?

I'm sure this is probably a dumb question, but if you carry a coin as a pocket piece that has been either cleaned or whizzed, eventually would the cleaning marks rub off from wear? If so, how many grades would be lost in the process? For example, if I carried a cleaned or whizzed Walking Liberty with AU details with my pocket change, at what point would the evidence of cleaning wear off? VF? F? VG? Fair?
Second Question- If this were done successfully, would it be ethical to later have the coin slabbed? Further, if it were slabbed, would it be ethical to sell the coin?

applies to copper.
A heavy cleaning will usually need to wear down half a grade or more and a very heavy
one a full grade or even a little more.
Whizzing can be extreme. If it's polished then it will still show up in the low areas even
after losing a couple grades.
The amount of metal loss isn't consistent across all grades and series. These are averages
and it eradicating surface damage is dependent on the natural sloughing off of the metal.
They went from a body bag to a slab. They also went a grade, perhaps two grades lower, but still a profitable venture given certain circumstances.
Whizzing is another thing altogether. Never tried that as it took 3-4 months with the others and I think whizzing just about ruins the coin.
I do have a '21 Peace that was whizzed, got it cheap for that reason, $20 if I remember correctly. It might take years in my pocket and by then would be lucky to grade out as good. It's a pretty severe whizzing!
