Post an edgeview pic.


The coin is nowhere near as shiny as it appears in this pic, but I had to use flash to get the pic to come out at all.
Sorry for the bad photo skills.
It has very detailed edge lettering I think.

That looks awesome. How did you warp it around the coin like that?
As far as the cleaning, makes no difference to me, this example is beautiful as it shows all of the details of the design.

Yes my pic.
It is pretty simple, take a coin with edge lettering and place it inside the reflector of a handheld flashlight, after you remove the bulb. Snap a pic. The parabolic nature of the reflector will create the edgeview for you.
I have another pic around here somewhere of a much nicer coin. Let me see if I can find it.

That's great, I will have to try it sometime. Only thing I can try is a Pres Dollar since most everything else is slabbed.
