Ebay's new coin listing process

I have put up some coins recently and found the new listing process to be easy. Perhaps because I already use full slab photos front and back, I haven't found the need to put TPG, grade and serial number a problem. Anyone else?

gotta pay for the second pic. don't like that. Does one need to list the slab S/N in the place where one would enter the ISBN number for a book, haven't tried it yet?

Noticed a sixth TPG has been added: PMG, who are they?

no need to pay for any pics. just upload your pics to photobucket and copy and paste them into your item description.

How to post photos is easy, it's taking them that screws me up.

familiar with photobucket, have used it before. anyone know the limit on number of pics that can be accessed in photobucket at one time. I like to keep my turbo lister loaded with "ready to upload" just in case ebay surprises me with a twenty cent Tuesday listing special.

Did anyone notice, that the parameters (TPG, Grade .. etc) are not available to graded bullion coins...ASE, AGE, APE & Buffalo's. Glitch in their program?

    Interesting.
Anyone here have a current listing using photobucket? I'd like to see one in action.
Also, still no reply on the certification number. Do we have to type it in where the ISBN (for books) would go, or will just having it readable in the photo do?
Maybe Russ will chime in, he's on top of this.

There is a field for entry of the cert number. The listing does not display the SN although it is in the photograph.

Item specifics have never been available for bullion.

Yep, there's a place to enter it, but it does not show in the listing itself. This is what shows:

    Item Specifics - US Coins
Certification: PCGS Method of Manufacture: Business Strike
    Mint: Philadelphia Condition: Uncirculated
    Material: Copper Grade: MS64RB

The only thing that's inconvenient about the new procedures is the requirement for a reverse image of the slab. I was already doing the obverse, so I shot reverses and made composite images:

    image

By doing a composite I'm still using a total of three images just like before, so there isn't any increase in auction load time and the layout remains the same.

Thanks, Russ, I knew that. I was hoping, with the allowable TPG change, that eBay would plug that hole. A lot of 3d tier junk TPG's are pawning off their bullion as 70 to the uninformed masses.

OPA, you made a good point and it's something we cannot change.
When it comes to ebay laws, there are always ways to "WORK AROUND" them. This is what crooks find more appealing than ripping us off. Finding the GRAY AREA. (my opinion)
