  • Thanks for posting the new ANACS slap.
Glad to hear that some one confimed the slap as as well.
I called ANACS, on Wednesday. I spoke to a Tracey. She told me that the company came out with a
    new, stronger slap.
I was curious about the way it look, and, I just got my answer.

  • If that's a new style, I like it a lot better.

Yep...new holder. I put pics of them next to each other here

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  • I wonder if the new one will allow you to slide your fingernail between the plastic and break the seal like the old one did??? image

    The old ones are terrible!

Much better slab shell but I wish they would do something with the insert label...well, I guess you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

I agree. It's better, but not way better.

Actually, if they put the label from the OWH into this new slab, I think it'd look pretty spiffy.

I hope that circular insert doesn't move around in the holder.

It doesn't. The gasket fits right around the coin....doesn't look like it can move (have 2 dimes and a quarter in them...each appears to fit pretty snugly)

  • Cammy, we need the serial number visible on the front to help comply with Ebays rules (I believe).

Nope...gotta show front and back for the new rules (I believe) image

The serial number needs to be listed in the auction. I think that if it is visible on the slab, that would be sufficient (I believe).

That was the new ANACS holder I was referring to last week.

  • I still think that the date/mm and denomination should be more prominent on the label than the grade. The date should be in the little white section.

  • Almost looks like a SEGS slab, except not quite as bulletproof.

I talked to the ANACS people at the TNA in May. They told me they had no plans to change the new slabs, and had NEVER heard anyone complain about them or mention that they could be popped open easily.

  • As much business as I do, and plan to do, it still seems like they're behind the 8-ball on this.

ANACS must be ran by several monkeys or people who think they
    collect coins. same thing.
