How Would You Handle This Feedback? - First Anaconda Neutral.

    Exactly!

While I realize that the 100% positive feedback is nice to have, from a buyer's perspective, one (or even a handful) of negatives wouldn't dissuade me one bit from buying from a seller that has 99.9% (or whatever) positive feedback. My thinking is you can't please everyone no matter how good you are, so there are bound to be a few negs-

  • << <i>Brandon you did everything right except POST the situation on this board before contacting the client and resolving the problem. You now know the folly of airing dirty laundry in public.
Very nice coin by the way...and terrific price. PM me if you wish and consider the coin sold when it's returned...horribly slab and all. >>

I wasn't "airing dirty laundry". I simply wanted to see how others here would handle a neutral of such a minor issue with no comm from the buyer. Anyway, you know someone was gonna see it and post it here gleefully no matter what. I figure that in addition to all of the insight, I'd beat them to the punch. image

Anyway, usually the resolve comes before they post a neg/neutral feedback. This time was out of the ordinary as it was resolved AFTER feedback was left by the buyer.

<< <i>Hey Brandon, I only wish I would have checked out that auction before the buyer did. I would have been all over that awsome coin, and I don't care if it was put in the slab sideways and upside down, it's a gorgeous coin. >>

Well, here's your chance, dizz! >>

Already taken care of Tom, I'm a step ahead of you.imageimage >>

    Dizz,

Did you swoop in ahead of me again? Dammmmmmm, you should look at my 1st post on the 2nd page.

    Rob

    ps Don't worry about it.

I would also like to add, I cannot believe that anyone here would send the buyer flack. If he was not happy, requardless of the reason, as people who are not involved in the transaction, you should not have said anything. Your actions (if you made them) could have resulted in a loss of business for Anaconda, and puts them in a very bad light with that buyer for sure now. Maybe he and his friends, relatives or coin club will trash Anaconda now and cost them further business.

Sorry Rob, yes, I swooped in and hooked it.image I can only recommend to always check in on the Anaconda website. I do as much as I can. They just always have so many nice coins going in and out of their inventory, I try and check in on it often and many times it's the lower priced stuff that is so enticing.

I just read three pages on one coin dealing with feedback on ebay and my nephew wants to know if we have a life.
He wants to open up some of my rolls and cherrypick image I told him Dr Phil is on.

My wife asks me this very same thing often and I tell her that of all the different hobbies I've been into, I felt the coin hobby has the biggest sense of normalcy. Of course, "normal" can be construed as a relative term.image

It's bound to happen, I was negged over a $10 Barry Bonds card. Said he never received it, refunded his money,

and got a neg. I just put him on my block bidder list, and moved on.
