Holy cr*p - grades posted!!

I can't believe they finally posted!!

The Adderly, Mackey and Marshall were all PSA 7 crackouts, the Hampton was a BGS 8.5 crackout, the Tingelhoff, Jordan and Robinson were raw finds (I probably paid $55 to $60 total for all 3 cards), I've had the Martin for years (raw), the Viniateri was a $10 purchase off E-Bay and the Bennett was a 20 cent find on Sportslot.com. All I can say is wow. I'll definately resubmit the Adderley.

Regards,

Greg M.

Are you selling or keeping the Vinny 10?
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
  • Greg,

Nice grades on the Co-Signers I hope my four come back as good. Congrats

    Thanks Jack...I was hoping for 10's...but I'm definately happy w/ 1 8 and 1 9. Now, the only co-signer that I need is Marino / K Stewart. That's a tough one to find!

I'd consider selling the Vinny 10. I have no idea what market is on that card.... Make me an offer if you're interested.

    Greg,

I have had many a hit-or-miss with BGS crackouts. It seems that they have never heard of calipers over there at Beckett, and do not really care how a card measures out!
I once bought a BGS/BVG 8 1973 Babe Ruth card that I thought I could crack out and submit, only to receive the card and find that it was a full 1/16 inch smaller L-R than my other examples.
I did not bother and resold the BGS card, and luckily made a small profit. I have submitted other BGS cards, and have had limited success, but for the most part it has been somewhat iffy.

    Good luck in your resub!
    Cheers,

Hi, what type of service level was it that took 2 1/2 months? I also want to send in about 12 cards soon and was wondering the service level you chose that took that long. Can't imagine waiting that long for my cards lol, I would be a nervous reckimage
