Swimming pool grassy area

I was detecting by a skateboard park yesterday and kept eying a grassy area outside a swimming pool fence. In a little bit the manager of the pool came over and said that I was looking in the wrong place. He said to come on up to the pool area. He said when the Lifeguards hose down the pool area they don't pick up the change. I detected for about 3 hrs there and came away with over $10 in change including 178 pennies. I also found a Sterling Silver Senior ring. It belonged to one of the Lifeguards.

I've heard such places are loaded with coins, and if you can find one from the early '60s or older, you have a potential silver mine!

Right. Where the cement meets the grass and about four more feet was the biggest haul area.
