Tarnished Silver

While I was visiting with a friend who owns a collectibles shop this afternoon, he showed me three coins he recently took into consignment. My question for the members of this board is if you feel they are collectively worth $25.00. One is a 1916 Barber dime and a 1916 merc. Neither have amint mark. There is also an 1893 fifty cent commemerative Columbus coin. The amount of detail on all three coins as seen through a loop in incredible, but all three are also badly tarnished. Any thoughts?

I have seen this coin sell for $10 to $15 dollars.

Not outrageously priced... would prefer all three for $20.... but I have not seen them in hand.. do not clean them. If dirty, a soak in reagent grade acetone will remove the 'gunk'. If toned, well, for many collectors, that is desirable. Cheers, RickO

I believe these classify as well toned. What makes a coin turn that way? I've seen so many examples of silver that you guys pull the ground that are still a shiny silver. I'm confused
