Newbie help (dialuppers beware?)
After reading the recent milkspotting threads, I went to look at some of my slabbed silver eagles, and this caught my eye. The scan makes it look a little bluer than in hand, a small silver "O" just above the L in SILVER on the reverse. There are some small areas of milkspots elsewhere on the reverse that reflect in a similar fashion to light sources/angles, but those areas are much more "splotchy" in appearance. Any thoughts? Debris? Thanks for looking! - Mike

in vacuum sealed bags. Some have been sealed for 6 years, no milk, no spots.
I use the Food Saver brand. Good luck with your Eagle's.
I hvae since taken the advise of morgansforever and vacume packed all of my coins.
I have a Food Saver, but never thought to use it for coins. Do you give them a rinse prior to slabbing, as practiced by Russ (I think)? Also, are the Food Saver brand bags thought to be safe for coin storage? I guess I am eating food stored in them.
