some early california relics

went digging at a spot last night that dates back to the 1700's. the area is vast and i hope to someday go back. pictured is 3 musket balls, 4 flat buttons and 2 religious medals. the button with the bird is called a "phoenix button". its a rare find in california. this is my 4th one. the picture may not show it but the large medal looks almost knew. it dates somewhere around 1820-1830's. the front says " S. JOAN. FRANC. CHANTAL ORD. VIS. S. M. FUND", the other side says" ST. FRANCOIS DE SALES". the smaller medal is diffucult to read. one side says " S.MARC VSLVA" other side " NOSTRA S DE BBLLMVNT" at bottom" ROMA".
