Bonds is done at the end of the season. He knows there is no point in running up the record because A-rod will break it regardless.

i doubt it swartz1,ya never know though,stranger thing have happened, look at how close ken griffey jr would be if he wast hurt for close 2 two seasons,bonds would more than likely have been chasing griffey! bonds cant even run anymore,has to have a pinch runner--if anyone wants him after this season, even though hes the "king",the giants need a new team bad with fresh people, and to get bonds off their payroll,not even close to contention for a pennant this year they are so far back a-rod 2 years on dh-i be doubtin it, bonds will be on th dh or the dl list too if anybody wants him,has to have a pich runner, only thing he can go is hit homers anymore, he sure cant run anymore, he'll try to stick around forever to get 800 like steve calton did with pitching
