I am pretty sure it is real as it was in a sealed Stacks flip dated from some auction in 1987. Guess the grade?

That rim ding doesn't look serious enough to keep it from being slabbed.

Looks O.K. as a AU55 or 58 to me...but thats a WAG at best. I don't think the ding will cause a BB by itself. In conjunction with other problems the coin may have not visible in the photo...maybe.

nope, i've got several NGC and PCGS coins with minor dings like that. they may downgrade it a bit, but 90% of the time they won't BB for something that minor.

ANACS I hope. The X scratched in the left field on the reverse will BB it at PCGS and should do the same at NGC.

The X on the reverse at 9:00 and the scratches intentionally done up and to the
right of the X will keep it out of a holder. Rim ding is not a problem.
