What would you do if this happend??

OK, I was looking over some of the cards I have had graded over the years. And I just noticed that one of the cards I sent in has a tiny 3mm crease on one of the edges. Its graded a NM 7 but I think it should be a 5 now. I had it graded and Im curious to what I should do. Its only a small 20.00 card. Im thinking I should just crack it out and leave it. Not saying anything bad about PSA , it was just a small error and they dont make that many of them. What would yall do? Leave it crack it out or what?? It was a card I submitted, so I didnt buy it already graded. And I even missed the crease when I sent it in or I wouldnt have.

Was the card a raw ebay or store purchase?

I bought about 1000 HOFers from 1954-1976 and it came out of a group of raw cards. They came from a private sale. Not ebay.

Nothing to do with what I asked but. I just like the images on these 2 cards.

Yea, these came from a man who collected in the 1960-70s and I think the crease has always been there. Me and PSA just both missed it.

I was just wondering because if it were a single card sale it could have been pressed out and the crease reappeared after grading.

Being only a $20.00 card and that it was purchased in a large lot, that blows that theory

If the "crease" is on the back of the card and runs parallel and close to the edge, then PSA seems to consider this as part of the cut, and not a crease.

I recently bought a bunch of 1992 Bowman PSA 9s, and most of them had that characteristic. I've also seen plenty of vintage cards with this sort of characteristic, and it didn't affect the grade.

No its on the front and it goes down into the card.

    How close to the corner?

If it's less than 1/4", they might count it as a corner issue.

Okkkkkkaaaaayyyyyy ,so do yall think I should keep it graded or do what with it????

Being that the value is very small, you might as well just keep it in the slab for protection. If you ever want to sell it and the grade really bothers you-----just state that there is a little crease or whatever imperfection is there. I'm sure the potential buyer would really appreciate your honesty.

Seriously, why even agonize over such a low value card in the first place?

Edit: Mentioning the crease if you decide to list/sell it would be the right thing to do.

I've had some PSA cards I bought on ebay, that I felt were overgraded.

    What did I do?

I sent them into PSA to have them review them on their dime and to have the overgraded cards (in their opinion) put into the right graded holder. Then I got grading credits for the value lost.

I figured why try to pass along an overgraded card to another buyer? Have PSA take them off the market place and take responsibility for their errors in grading them too high the first time.
    Seems reasonable, right?

Why not try that route with your card?

By the way, cool Hornung card. I've always liked that one too.

Everyone needs to keep in mind, first and foremost - PSA does NOT make mistakes! So all this talk of a PSA mistake is just crazy talk!

So....if you buy a card and think it is overgraded you resubmit to get the correct grade? lower than or higher? you gotta elaborate on that...

Any possible crease in a 7 slab must be a figment of your imagination.
