    I have a whole grove of yum yum trees in my back yard and coins have never fallen out of it. What am I doing wrong?

    Walker's are a favorite of mine... Russ, is that reddish tone a stain or some type of toning? I have not seen that before... Walkers tend to go dark.. or often a golden hue... new one to me. Cheers, RickO

    Russ--- Really nice head on this coin. Nice center skirt lines too. Be nice to see this coin in hand. The 1939 coins seem to be a great toner year. Unusual color for a Walker. Would love to know where it has been stored?? Bob [supertooth]

    The luster is somewhat subdued by the toning. Here's another pretty one, also an MS66:

    Nice coin.But a 6 is a gift.I would think the cut on the feathers would keep as a 5........No?

    The 1939-D is really nice in hand. In sunlight, the toning dominates. In room lighting or under a bright light source, the luster shines right through the toning. Russ, thanks for confirming here what my impressions were when viewing the coin on Mark Feld's website just moments earlier. The toning nicely enhances a relatively unblemished coin. The strike could be stronger, but I still like the coin.
