I had 100 cards prepared for submission for the special. However, I had just paid a ton of other obligations and didn't have the $500 I was going to need for payment right then on the 30th...but I would have it, easy, a couple weeks into July. Knowing they'd just sit on my submission I mailed it in on time. They got it the 3rd, logged it in on the 10th - and by then the money to cover the check was waiting for them in the bank. If they'd have checked it in on the 3rd when they got it I'd have had to do some quick maneuvering to make sure the funds were there. If I was at all worried about the chance of that happening I would have waited.
So them dragging their heels saved me $100 over the regular submission costs.
I have an April special logged in 5/4, not yet popped. I assume it's cause it's prewar stuff.
And, it appears that the $15 regular service is 10 days guaranteed, and the 5 day is now $30. Is that new, I seem to recall for $15 it was 5 days. Did that change quietly slip in??
i sent in over 300+ cards all though the month of june on the 5.00 special, ive got one box of 25 back so far, the rest i sent in in 50 and 100 lots, i bet with all the cards they got in june they are probably covered up with cardsavers ,we might get the june stuff in august!! rubesmilitariaandsportcards.com
August? No, I think it will be early September. My earliest sub was logged 6/22 and that one looks like it'll come due (45 days) on September 5th depending on the show dates. The one that was logged in on Saturday should be ready around September 20th. Early June specials might get done by late August because they've got 6 days of shows (by my count). They said it would be a while. I was ecstatic to see my 6/30 sub pop already. I think that'll be it for a while.
It may be wishful thinking, but I sent in 5 subs that were all logged in on 7/2 and I bet at least one of them pops before the end of the month. In fact, I think two will pop.

jeff , what did you think of the grades? there looks to be a couple key's in there like the demeter and I would think the murcer rookie is pretty good but I see a lot of 6's , is this what you were expecting?
i never thought about that envoy,thats right,the cleveland ohio show is just right around the corner,spent too much $ this year cant go,ill just wait till next year!
There were three that came back as 6s that I thought were 7s. Overall I was very pleased with the grades as I submitted most thinking they were 7s for my set to fill in the holes. The Demeter was a SGC 84 that I broke out.
