i like the look of the reverse but from the pics i wonder how nice
the obverse will be. we all know that is the side that people
    are most critical of.

Just my opinion, but I think that this is one of those rare occasions when "bad" is "good".image

i wonder why the obv pic it seems tilted while the rev is straight on
showing off the nice remaining luster??

edited to add: it is getting late and my eyes are probably playing
tricks on me. i just don't trust ebay pictures from most sellers.

'Tis a good question and deserves an answer.

Answer = I'm not the best at taking photos and I couldn't get the damn camera to focus without tilting for the obv. pic. I have it in hand and the obv. luster is every bit as nice as the reverse.

Ohhhh, do I know that feeling!

My self-imposed buying freeze thawed a bit this afternoon, and I filled 2 gaps in my Barber Half collection, and got an 1893 Columbia Exposition half, too. Ssshhh!

Edited to add: Btw, nice pickup, Cladiator! image

She's used to spotting 15mm half dimes so this 13mm dollar might not be small enough to fly under her radar. Plus, we know the women can smell gold a mile away image
