I'm a newbie

in U.S. Coin Forum
Thanks for having me. I've been a reader on the site absorbing lots of great information for many months and finally took the initiative to join. I've been collecting coins for about 35 years, nothing too extravagant but I'm one who looks at all my pocket change looking for silver, wheats,ect and I've collected alot of coins in that manner as well as buying from dealers, internet, and from friends. Just wanted to start out by saying hello to everybody.

    Mainly copper and silver. I have no gold yet. Have to convince my wife it's a worthwhile investment. I also love early commeratives.

    yes, my wife and I own a cessna 182, great little airplane for flying around fat, dumb, and happy. I'm also an ER doc but don't tell my mother, she thinks I play piano at a whorehouse.

    I've flown a 182 on floats, fun, but the 185 was better suited to floats, lots of power. To keep it coin relevent, what coins do you like?

    Right now I'm collecting some early halves, although I still like the Morgans and early commeratives. Nothing too elaborate yet. I'll post some pictures soon of some of my recent acquisitions.
