Nothing valuable (monetarily), but a few fun oldies for this month.
ring, rolled penny/ key fob from SF's 1940 Int. Expo, silver war nickel, 1946 silver Roosevelt, 1901 V-nickel:
1940 fob ("1940 San Francisco, Treasure Island, Golden Gate, Intl Exposition")
Had to scrub this one to get a date off of it
My favorite find for the month is not that valuable but it has some fun history to it.
1874 Rail Road token
"Oakland, Brooklyn, & Fruitvale RR Company"
"One Fare, 1874"
Can you imagine these going down the street over 100 years ago?
(and handing the guy in the fancy uniform a token? )
Oh, and with all the horses in the street?... watch your step!
Here's a better example I found on the web along with an old pic:

<< <i>Nice finds, I like the detail on the rolled penny. >>
Right. I was wondering if the date of the penny is still visible.

I wondered if I would be able to see details, but the back is very smooth.

Interesting find... was your token pretty worn, or did it come out in decent shape?
No mine was perty worn and also since it's copper GGP soil was not to kind to it either,I had to be very carefull cleaning it.
