John D Adams coin

I was wondering your opinion. Do you like the coin? DO you even own some?

I picked a roll up from the bank just last Friday. Looked through them for errors, did not find any, started spending them this week.

They appear to be plain and dole looking. I might get some for seven eleven.... other than that I have no need for them in my collection!

If I find a roll of Adams dollars that do not have plain edges or doubling, aren't they pretty scarce and worth saving?

I haven't heard many reports of them being made correctly, has anyone else?

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I've decided to slowly creep back into collecting with the Prez dollar coins--- I go to the bank, get a roll of D coins, pick out the best 5 and spend the rest. Total cost, $1.00 per coin, but since there's no premium and I can always spend them later for $1.00 if I like, it's like a freebie. image

Oh, and I did get the proof set, for what, $16.00?
