    Nice pick-up on this scam....

<< <i>My uncle had purcahsed it in the early 1970's in Missouri. His father was an umpire for the NL for some 20 years or so. >>

Would that not make the umpire his grandfather........ image

Maybe it was the the uncle's fathers cousin's sisters aunt. ?????? image

It depends on what part of Missouri it was, but that is a highly likely scenario.

Our first inclination as a group was that this guy was FOS. However, we assume that people are honest and then it almost always gets proven that they are not. From now on I am not going to give any of these guys the benifit of the doubt. Who cares if we are proven wrong?

    EXACTLY !
There was just too much that didn't jive , But you want to give the benifit of the doubt .
You don't want to seem mean either to someone who is new , by comming right out and saying, I think you're full of it .

It usually comes out in the wash sooner or later , especially with the people that read these boards, you're not getting much over on you guys .

Honestly my first reaction to reply to the message was only 2 words .

    " Yea Right "
